Garnier Press Conference

Yesterday,my gurls and myself had a call for a two hours rehearsal doing modern ballet/contemp for a show today at Le Meridien inconjunction with Garnier's latest skin product. A choreography that we all knew nothing about had to be digested by us in just two hours! Such last minute thing. Oh well,it wasnt anything complicating at all because basically all the steps came out by us as it was freestyle. They wanted us dancers to be all different in movements n poses.

So we were there at Le Meridien at 12pm as we are told to for a quick stage rehearsal. I must say that the space given to us was really really small from wot we expected but we knew it was small but not that small! How pathetic! So there was lotsa changes to our choreography. Gosh! And when i said the space given was really small,i really mean it! Let me give you an example,the front row audience can just get a kick and a slap from all of us when we do our high kick and the turn respectively! That is just how close they're all sitting to us. So that's the part we made the changes,all low kick and arms just slightly away from our thighs. So after stage rehearsals were all done and it was time for make up and hair do. All models and us went up to a room given to us upstairs to get ready. The best part was we had the make up artist to do all our make up. Was totally awesome! We all soo blend in with the models there >_~ But i must say that i really pity the make up artist cz there was only two of them and had to make up all 9 of us(4 models+4 of us+emcee,Serena C) Am soo loving the make up! Thanks to the lovely make up artist for making me look all pretty today*muackzies* After make up and hair,we hv like more or less about 2 hrs to relax so we ate cz we were all hungry. Had McD brought up for us to the room by our lovely choreographer,Simon. Thanks for the McD. And soon it was time for us to get back down for preparation. Looking at the crowd just make me all so nervous. Everyone was just staring at us. Butterflies in my stomach is just accumulating more and more. And wot i fear most is me forgetting my steps(typical me) so i ended up cracking jokes with my gurls to ease myself which actually helps me to get rid of my nervousness.

And soon it was show time,the front row ppl just didnt hv such common sense to actually not crossed their legs when sitted as they all cud see the space is VERY limited. Seriously their legs are really obstructing our way. Argh! And when we were performing my my,flashes were just flashing in our eyes all the time,was so glaring to the eyes. But who cares! We're famous! Haha! And thank God i remembered all my steps! I managed to pull it through! Yay!

Overall it was a fun and exciting day for me. Was another great experience for me to carry along with me for a lifetime.
