1st Inter Campus Dodgeball Tournament 2008

Malaysia's first ever Inter Campus Dodgeball competiton was recently held last Friday at SEGi University College, Kota Damansara =)

16 teams, from 16 different colleges took part, besides dodgers competing, there are dodgettes too! (aka cheerleaders =P)

Only two teams, Taylor's Hyenas & SEGi's Barbarians doggettes were competing for the main prize - RM5000!

And I'm proud to announced that SEGi's Barbarians Dodgettes took 1st prize home! We were Most Inspiring Cheerleaders! *throws confetti*

Taylor's Hyenas won Best Props for that night...

As for my fellow dodgeballers, they managed to fight through into finals, going against MIT college and got 2nd placing! (RM1000 cash)

Competition ended at 2am, and I've lost my voice cheering my team on. But it was all worth it knowing all our hard effort put into this, was paid off =D

Viennese Ball Kuala Lumpur 2008

A BIG apology to all of you, my dear blog readers for my long absence in the blogging world. I've been really occupied ever since my last post when I got back from China. So, it's about time that I update what's been going on ever since my last appearance here...

Ever since I came back from China, it's straight back in action for me for another BIG event being held here in the beautiful city of Kuala Lumpur, it's known as the event of the year - Viennese Ball Kuala Lumpur 2008! (organised by the Austrian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur) My schedule are fully occupied by the rehearsals for this Ball - 3 days/week, 3 hours/day! *imagine my poor feet dancing on heels!* Okay, enough of me bragging, going on and on about the rehearsals, I'll let the pictures do the talking...=D

And it's the end of the "Cinderella" story. It sure was an experience for me at the Ball, learning the Austrian culture, history and not forgetting FOOD! (sausages & 'goulash'...it was oh so DELICIOUS! AND not forgetting the free flow of CHAMPAGNE and Austrian RED WINE!) If there's ever going to be another Viennese Ball the following year, I would strongly recommend to everyone to participate and experience this wonderful evening of Austrian culture with full of pride and dignity.
